Symantec Endpoint Protection – Antivirus protection is always required, regardless of the type of system one works on, be it a physical or a virtual one. Symantec Endpoint Protection is a software solution developed to secure servers, desktop, laptops and virtual environments against a wide range of threats.
Symantec released GSS V3.1 on March 7th 2016. This release can upgrade an existing GSS 3.0 install but it requires a new license, the one from GSS 3.0 will not work.

- Ghost Solution Suite 3.0 2015: The next release It has been a while since the release of Symantec’s Ghost Solution Suite 2.5.1 which was released on december 2009. In 2012 another thread on connect about the new ghost development yes/no question was started: 'When will come new Version of Ghost – GSS 3.0?'
- Ghost Solution Suite. Issue/Introduction: The Purpose of the attached article is to provide instructions for adding additional drivers to the Boot Disk Creator. When booted from the new Ghost boot disk you do not have network connectivity. Boot Disk Creator 3.0.
This minor version contains the following enhancements:
- Support for Windows 10 out of the box
- save and restore to local drive and network share is back (not in 3.0)
- Partition imaging added (console)
- Improved Automation Folder Feature
- Enhanced Sysprep support for Win10
- Support for multiple WinPE versions
- Updated LinuxPE (newer Kernel)
- Support for WinPE 10 added
- Path to an installed ADK/WAIK can now be set
- Main console UI dialogs were updated (for new features and low screen resolutions)
- Updated ASDK – GSS Administrator Software Development Kit (this will be a separate release in the next months)
